Friendly reception in Lamothe-Goas
Alain Scudellaro, on behalf of the municipality of Lamothe-Goas received at the village hall, Shrinkhala Khatiwada, “Miss Nepal Word 2018”. In his capacity as leader of the Gers Himalaya association, he recalled the links between the village of Lomagnol and Nepal. She is accompanied by Binod Khakurel, president of the collective France Nepal, a regular in Gascony because he has already come many times to Lamothe-Goas. Two Nepalese journalists follow his trip for broadcasts in Nepal.

She is a goodwill ambassador to promote the 70th anniversary of Franco-Nepalese diplomatic relations. His stay in France began with Occitania and, in particular, the Gers. Its presence in Lamothe-Goas, headquarters of the Gers Himalaya association, is an undeniable recognition of the work carried out with Nepalese children for more than twenty years.

A few days ago, Shrinkhala Khatiwada was still in Nepal. Together with the head of Gers Himalaya in Nepal, Latcche Kc Bahadur, she had visited theGers Himalaya School in the mountain village of Lelintok.

After Lamothe-Goas, Miss Nepal will visit companies in Lamothe, the Messegué laboratories in Fleurance and the Atho laboratory in Monfort. The historical heritage will also be in the spotlight, Lavardens and Auch, for this young woman graduated in architecture in her country. In Toulouse, it is expected at the Airbus and ATR factories of which Nepal is a customer.

“A real minister’s agenda,” says Alain Scudellaro. Indeed, back in Paris, Miss Nepal will be received at the Senate and then at the National Assembly, but also by the head of protocol at the Palace of Versailles and in the salons of the fashion house Dior.

The notoriety of Shrinkhala Khatiwada allowed her to build a dispensary in a remote village in Nepal for which she managed to raise the sum of € 50,000.

On her return to Nepal, she will participate in the preparations for the election of the future Miss Nepal 2019, already expected in Gascony.
